We've changed!
WWW.CJ-7.ORG has found a new home. Due to the loss of our last hosting arrangement, we've moved to wikidot hosting. We wanted to move to a Wiki based setup to make it easier for users to contribute, and wikidot was an easy choice for us. We're hoping that the community edited wiki concept can help us all build the single most complete and thorough resource online for jeep CJ-7s.
Where's the content?
"I used to use CJ-7.org for reference, where did all the content go? Is it lost?" NO! We still have all of the original content from before, and will be working to convert it all to the wiki format. This may take a bit of time though, as most of the data is in a database from our last content management system, bear with us during this process.
What can I expect to find here?
There is 6 types of content on CJ-7.org.
- Facts Basic information about the Jeep CJ-7 in stock form, measures, statistics, specifications, etc.
- Articles How-To style articles, things like: installing lift springs, rebuilding the carb, installing lights.
- Reviews User reviews of bolt-on and kit style commercial products, user impressions, comments, etc.
- Members A space of your own, to show off what you've done with your CJ-7.
- Pictures A gallery of photos that have been added to our Flickr CJ-7 pool
- Forum A Forum for your CJ-7 related discussion.
What can I do to help?
Very soon we hope to have some page templates for specific types of articles and additions, but in the mean time, feel free to register and create your own profile. For your first page, create a page on this site with information about you, your CJ-7, and your ideas of how you would like to see this site be used.
